Backer
Backers are players who help support the development of Underworld Ascendant by making a pledge. You can make a pledge through Kickstarter.
Kickstarter Tiers[edit]
Backers on Kickstarter are able to pledge at various levels, each with different benefits. The following tiers are available.
- Wanderer - Get updates on progress, an Iron Backer Badge on the forum, and an Iron Avatar's Ring
- Pioneer - Kickstarter exclusive discount of the Prioneer's Progeny tier
- Pioneer's Progeny - A Copper Backer Badge, digital copy of the game, digital soundtrack, wallpaper, and a Copper Avatar's Ring
- Journeyman - All lower tiers, plus Silver Backer Badge, digital strategy guide, beta access, and a Silver Avatar's Ring
- Explorer - All lower tiers, plus Gold Backer Badge, digital map, alpha access, insider's blog, digital documentary, and a Gold Avatar's Ring
- Adventurer - All lower tiers, plus digital art book, pre-alpha access, digital copy of Ultima Underworld 1+2, and all digital stretch goals
- Hero - All lower tiers, plus physical boxed version of the game and extra digital copy
- Digital Protagonist - All-digital version of the Avatar tier
- Legendary Hero - All lower tiers, plus Ruby Backer Badge, Collector's Edition box, parchment map, developer roundtable access, and your name in the credits
- Avatar - All lower tiers, plus collector's art book, soundtrack CD, your name in the Hall of Immortals, and all digital Add-Ons
- Lore Seeker - All lower tiers, plus documentary DVD, one 4" faction figurine, and prototype access
- Lore Master - All lower tiers, plus an additional digital copy of the game, all three 4" faction figurines, limited edition poster, in-game faction sanctuary, and your name engraved in copper
- Master of All - All lower tiers, a 5" figurine of your character, signed Collector's Edition box,and your name engraved in silver
- Enlightened One - All lower tiers, plus every OtherSide game for the next decade, signed collector's art book, signed and numbered poster, design session access, name a character, place or item, and your name engraved on a silver statue
- Visionary - All lower tiers, plus a 7" figurine of your character, signed personal prose on parchment, and your name engraved on a gold statue
- Patron - All lower tiers, plus carved wood patron sceptre, personalized music on signed CD, team conference call access, patron in credits, and your name engraved on a ruby statue
- Noble Patron - All lower tiers, plus custom signed original art, a day with the design team, and noble patron in credits
- Lord Patron - All lower tiers, plus an in-game abode in your honor, your likeness on an NPC, and lord patron in credits
- Royal Patron - All lower tiers, plus launch party invitation, special secret treat, and royal patron in credits
Cross-Campaign Exclusive Rewards[edit]
To celebrate our history with the realms of Lord British, OtherSide Entertainment is teaming up with Portalarium to prepare a special item for backers who also support Shroud of the Avatar. The Dark Elven Kinsman Buckler has a moonstone gem inset. If a player owns the buckler in both Shroud of the Avatar and Underworld Ascendant, then the moonstone will glow with the warmth of kinship.
It turns out that Bart had a wife. After Bart was turned into a chattering skull, his soon to be deceased wife insisted she too would be. The two can talk up a storm! Sadly, Jabbering Bertha got separated from Bart. Indeed, taken through a portal to the land of the Shroud of the Avatar. For any players who get Bertha as an Add-On in both games, the two will be reunited, and swap some unique quips. Not only that, but Bertha will put on her lipstick for Bart. Please just don’t make any ‘lipstick on a pig’ jokes, Bertha can be sensitive about her looks.
