[[Steam/Achievements|Steam Achievements]] are rewards for completing game objectives or performing pre-determined actions in a game.

You can get {{UA}} achievements simply by playing the game. As you perform certain actions in the game, you'll occasionally earn an achievement. Your achievements can be viewed through the stats in the Steam Community, or ingame using the Steam overlay (usually viewable with Shift-Tab). All {{UA}} Achievements have the same two icons for "Completed" and "Pending", shown here on the right.

For additional information about trading cards, badges and rewards, check out the [https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=4462-UIOB-0425 Game Stats and Achievements in Steam] KB article.

Feats are similar, but rather than activating anything in Steam, they give you memora points that may be used with [[Characters|Resherak]] to buy skills.

There is considerable overlap between Feats and Achievements, and the differing descriptions and names of one can give insight into how to complete the other.

Those Achievements listed with a 0% of players who have completed the achievement may be bugged, or may simply not be fully understood yet. This percentage is likely to be out of date -- by its very existence, this page is likely to make some of those numbers change! Please do check and update the percentages. If a percentage is not listed, then the entry is a Feat, but not an Achievement.

+
| Cheated Death || Yes || Used "Merciful Fate" to cheat death. || Even though the description talks about a Merciful Fate skill, the achievement requires an Iron Shirt skill from a fighter tree or a Shadow Step from a rogue tree. +

+
| Diverting Behavior || No? || Caused an enemy to investigate a sound. || Does not seem to trigger with thrown or carried physics objects. It doesn't trigger with glass bottles or when making noise on your own (smashing stuff, jumping loudly etc.). Even if the enemies do come to investigate, it still doesn't trigger. Seems completely bugged.

|-

+
| Fire Kill || Yes || Caused an enemy to be killed by Fire. || Triggers on its own in some levels. Igniting the building around them seems to work. Merely holding a burning thing to their face until they die is apparently not enough. Throwing burning boxes at the enemies works fine.

|-

|-
| 2.7% || || Flawless Victory || Resolved a combat encounter against multiple opponents who detected me without taking damage. || (Not a Feat) || Ranged weapons help, as does terrain to prevent more than one attacking you at once.

|-

|-
| 0.2% || || Formulaic Expert || Successfully casted a spell with four runestones. || (Not a Feat) || Requires enough runes, but can be done without any casting skill: ᛉᛒᚱ? where ? is any rune from the right of the wheel, is a level-1 spell to fire that thing as a missile. However, this use of the ᛉᛒ combination is considered a bug, and may be fixed.
+

| Incite Commotion || Yes || Enemies convinced to turn on each other. || Outcasts attacking monsters does not trigger this. Standing so that a foe is between yourself and a bowman or magic user seems to be the simplest path. Angering a reaper while others are close to it may also trigger it.

|-

+
| Long Jump || Yes || Leap Boldly Ascendant. || You will need a jumping skill to achieve this, just jumping off a cliff down doesn't work. A blow from a Ripper can also throw you far enough to achieve this.

|-

|-

|-

|-
| 8.5% || Feat || Long Jump || Leap Boldly Ascendant. || [None] || Jumping from a height allows greater distance, especially with various jumping skills. A blow from a Ripper can also throw you far enough to achieve this. This feat seems to lack a feat description.
+

|-

|-
| 1.1% || || Long Wall Run || The world is your playground. || (Not a Feat) || Requires the Wall Run skill and a long enough wall.
+
| Mind Killer || Yes || A Mind Crippler was killed indirectly. || Internal feat name: MindCripplerDiedWithoutPlayerDamagingIt. Holding a burning item against it (e.g. burning orb) can trigger this: getting it killed in a fight with a monster or animus does not.

|-

+
| Pit Fallen || Yes || Killed an enemy with a trap. || Requires a pit trap specifically. Lure an enemy to follow you and either push him into the pit or just rely on his silliness, as he can easily just fall down on his own.

|-

|-

Steam Achievement Obtained
UA Steam Achievement.jpg

Steam Achievements are rewards for completing game objectives or performing pre-determined actions in a game.

You can get Underworld Ascendant achievements simply by playing the game. As you perform certain actions in the game, you'll occasionally earn an achievement.

Your achievements can be viewed through the stats in the Steam Community, or ingame using the Steam overlay (usually viewable with Shift-Tab).

All Underworld Ascendant Achievements have the same two icons for "Completed" and "Pending", shown here on the right.

For additional information about trading cards, badges and rewards, check out the Game Stats and Achievements in Steam KB article.

There is considerable overlap between Feats and Achievements, and the differing descriptions and names of one can give insight into how to complete the other.

Some achievements may be bugged. In the "Works" column, those confirmed working are marked "Yes". Those which have more than 0% steam completion, so were working at least at some point in the past, are marked "Yes?". Those with 0% Steam completion are marked "No?"

Achievements[edit]

The following Achievements are available:[1]

Name Works Description Notes
Arcane Regeneration Yes Regained a massive amount of health using Arcane Regeneration. Requires Arcane Regeneration skill. You need to heal 1000 health only by gathering mana orbs.
Balancing Act No? Balanced on a plank. Balanced like a see-saw, or balancing on its end? Unknown.
Bark & Bite Yes Defeated a Ripper. Works when killing a reaper with flaming orbs and arrows.
Bound Time Yes Dispatched an enemy who was bound while time was slowed. Use a ᚾᛏ wand to bind the skeleton and a rune bag ᚾᛖ spell to slow time. Finish it off with a weapon. You may need to weaken the skeleton first, so you can deal a killing blow here.
Box Master No? Jumped on a levitated box Does not seem to trigger when using ᚾᛃ (Bind wood), ᛖᛃ (Move Wood) or ᛖᚾ (Gravitate).
Cat Burglar Yes Gathered a key item without being detected. Triggers even if you don't have the side bounty to do so. It can be any quest item (a key for one of the main quests, a memora for a side quest etc.).
Cautious First Steps Yes Snuck by initial foes without being detected. Sneak past the three skeleton archers of Pluto's Gate in the "sneaking" part of the intro. In patch 2, a few skeletons were added before this point. If starting a new game just to do this, "New Game +" mode skips the tutorial levels, so can't get this achievement.
Cheated Death Yes Used "Merciful Fate" to cheat death. Even though the description talks about a Merciful Fate skill, the achievement requires an Iron Shirt skill from a fighter tree or a Shadow Step from a rogue tree. The easiest way to get this is to plant a tree near creatures and let them kill you several times, until this triggers.
Combo Attack Yes Performed a combo attack with a sword, axe, or without a weapon. Requires any attack skill that combines a movement key with an attack key (e.g. Fighter's Fury, Bloody Barrage). Acquire that skill and kill an enemy with it.
Crawstuck Yes Jammed a trap with an object. Levers which disable traps can trigger this, as can using physics objects. The Trap Impairment skill may help.
Deadly Sorcerer Yes Killed an enemy with spells. Requires ᚦ?-series spells. Basic Mage Fist spell work fine for this.
Diverting Behavior No? Caused an enemy to investigate a sound. Does not seem to trigger with thrown or carried physics objects. It doesn't trigger with glass bottles or when making noise on your own (smashing stuff, jumping loudly etc.). Even if the enemies do come to investigate, it still doesn't trigger. Seems completely bugged.
Dual Caster Yes Successfully casted a spell with two runestones. All spells are two or more runes. "ᚢᛗ" (Heal Person) is the first spell you can cast.
Dynamics of Reversal No? Reflected projectile. Unknown spell. Reflect spell MAY be ᛒᛉᛖ. Rune wand is marked as "REMOVED". Internal feat name: ReflectedAnArrowOrMindBlast.
Environment Master Yes Caused multiple enemies to be killed by physics damage. Triggers on its own in some levels, just by loading the level. Works with thrown boxes.
Fire Kill Yes Caused an enemy to be killed by Fire. Triggers on its own in some levels. Igniting the building around them seems to work. Merely holding a burning thing to their face until they die is apparently not enough. Throwing burning boxes at the enemies works fine.
Flawless Victory Yes Resolved a combat encounter against multiple opponents who detected me without taking damage. Ranged weapons help, as does terrain to prevent more than one attacking you at once.
Formulaic Expert Yes Successfully casted a spell with four runestones. Requires enough runes and sufficient casting skill. Ability to cast 2nd level spells without penalty is enough, so you are able to attempt 3rd level spells.
Friend of Deep Slugs Yes Feed a Deep Slug one of it's favorite foods. Eyeless Nether Fish can trigger this, so can Ripper Pomme. Ensure that they fully consume the fish.
Hard To Reach Yes Switched a lever without touching it You can obtain this by throwing or firing something at any lever, including in the very first room. You need to do this at least once, in Pluto's Gate, the training level.
Incite Commotion Yes Enemies convinced to turn on each other. Outcasts attacking monsters does not trigger this. Standing so that a foe is between yourself and a bowman or magic user seems to be the simplest path. Angering a reaper while others are close to it may also trigger it.
Long Jump Yes Leap Boldly Ascendant. You will need a jumping skill to achieve this, just jumping off a cliff down doesn't work. A blow from a Ripper can also throw you far enough to achieve this.
Long Wall Run Yes The world is your playground. Requires the Wall Run skill and a long enough wall.
Meteoric Demise Yes Killed an enemy with a burning crate. Deal a killing blow by throwing a burning crate at the enemy.
Mind Killer Yes A Mind Crippler was killed indirectly. Internal feat name: MindCripplerDiedWithoutPlayerDamagingIt. Holding a burning item against it (e.g. burning orb) can trigger this: getting it killed in a fight with a monster or animus does not.
Night Vision Yes Because the darkness should fear you. Requires the Night Vision skill. Crouch in darkness after obtaining the skill.
Parry Yes A good fighter knows when to Parry. Requires Parry Skill. Hold a right mouse button once an enemy is swinging at you, to successfully block the swing with a weapon. Confirmed working vs minor skeletons.
Physics Kill Yes Caused an enemy to be killed by physics damage. Throwing things at monsters achieves this. It can also trigger on its own, if they're killed elsewhere in the level by collisions, falls, etc.
Pit Fallen Yes Killed an enemy with a trap. Requires a pit trap specifically. Lure an enemy to follow you and either push him into the pit or just rely on his silliness, as he can easily just fall down on his own.
Pounce Yes Pounced on an enemy. Requires the Pounce skill. Jump onto their head, Mario-style, from a ledge, or just from the ground if you have good enough jump skills. Can be a 1-hit kill, in combination with other passives, like the Ambush.
Pyromaniac Yes Caused multiple enemies to be killed by Fire. Triggers on its own in some levels. Igniting the surrounding building seems to work. Merely holding a burning thing to their face until they die is apparently not enough. Thrown burning objects work fine.
Saurian Slide Yes The Saurians passed this technique down for generations. Requires the Saurean Slide skill. Run towards a monster with shift-toggle. Hit Ctrl to crouch before reaching them to slide into them.
Seasoned Silent Assassin Yes Killed several enemies without being detected. You can one-shot people from stealth with damage-boosting skills and weapons. Otherwise, attacking them in darkness can work, as can shooting them from cover.
Secrets of the Deep Slugs Yes Hid in a Deep Slug smoke trail. Crouch any time the slug-trails are smoky. Feeding them Eyeless Nether Fish, Nether Caps, and Bounty of the Depths make them secrete smoky trails.
Secrets of Wall Running Yes Used Wall Run off a free object. Requires the Wall Run skill and some convenient furniture such as a table, bookcase, coffin, or crates.
Silent Assassin Yes Killed an enemy without being detected. You can one-shot people from stealth with damage-boosting skills and weapons. Otherwise, attacking them in darkness can work, as can shooting them from cover.
Trapper Yes Killed multiple enemies with traps. Tripwire does not count as a trap here. You have to use traps found in the environment. Rollers, blades, pits - all work fine for this.
Trapper Keeper No? Bound or stuck in place a creature, who was then dispatched by a trap device.
Tripwire Expert Yes Killed an enemy with a tripwire. Requires a tripwire. Place in hotbar, activate, and move mouse to position shadow image of tripwire across a hallway. Can kill a skeleton.
Uncompromising Obstruction Yes Blocked an arrow with a held object. Hold a crate while you're being shot at. Since this blocks their sight, maybe peek over it until they fire.
Undetected Distraction No? Caused a creature to investigate a sound, but was undetected. Does not seem to trigger with thrown or carried physics objects. If not bugged, may require a glass vial for distraction.
Unseen Ascendant Yes Resolved multiple quest objectives undetected. Triggers even if you don't have the side bounty to do so.
Untouchable Assassin Yes Defeated an enemy without being damaged. Sneaking up behind low-level enemies with a decent weapon can one-hit them, particularly with skills that increase Adept or weapon damage. Ranged attacks also help.
Weaponized Slug Yes Killed an enemy using a Deep Slug trail. Feed a Ripper Pomme fruit to a Deep Slug and throw a flaming orb to ignite the trail when the enemy stands in it. Definitely works with slugs summoned by a spell.
What Wizards Know and Others Don't Yes Rebranded a wand with a new spell. Requires the Focus Mastery skill. Right-click while holding a wand, select a spell, and right-click again. Avoid doing with a wand that uses runes you don't have, or you can't put its original spell back!
