Feats

"We Saurians are dedicated to documenting and sharing unique survival tactics" - Resherak

Feats are rewards for completing game objectives or performing pre-determined actions in a game.

You can get Underworld Ascendant feats simply by playing the game. As you perform certain actions in the game, you'll occasionally earn a feat, which also gives you memora points that may be used with Resherak to buy skills: in essence, you are sharing with him the memories of your feats, in exchange for seeing the memories of others', which teach you their skills.

There is considerable overlap between Feats and Steam Achievements, and the differing descriptions and names of one can give insight into how to complete the other.

Feats

The following Feats are available:[1][2][3]

Some feats can be done multiple times, others are one-shot feats which you get once in the game. Those which are confirmed to be repeatable are marked "Yes". Those believed to be repeatable but where this has not been reproduced are marked "Yes?". Those known to be one-shots are marked "No".

Currently (checked in September 2021), even the repeatable feats do not grant skill points more than once. They only grant a "point" in a post-quest summary.

Name Repeatable Description Notes
Arcane Regeneration Yes? Heal 1000 total damage with Arcane Regeneration skill. To get Arcane Regeneration skill, you'll need at least 6 other skill in the magic tree + Seer's Balm.
Bark & Bite Yes Defeated a Ripper. Triggers normally, when Ripper is killed with fire, arrows, melee weapons.
Big Spender Yes Make a 5000-silver purchase from Aelita. Internal feat name: TradeBuyBig. It does not have to be one item, you just need to spend 5000 silver in one transaction.
Block/Parry Yes? Successfully parry an attack. You need to acquire a Parry skill and use it. Hit right mouse button once the foe has begun their swing, and successfully block all damage.
Bound Time Kill Yes? Killed a Bound enemy while time is slowed down. Weaken the enemy first, if needed. Use ᚾᛖ spell to slow time, use ᚾᛏ to bind an enemy (if he's undead)and finish him off while he's bound. It's good to have both spells prepared in wands/bag, so you can switch fast.
Bound Trap Kill Yes? Killed an enemy with a trap that had been blocked. Internal feat name: BoundTrapKill
Box Master Yes? Jumped on a levitated box Does not seem to trigger when using ᚾᛃ (Bind wood) or ᛖᛃ (Move Wood).
Cash In Yes Make a 500-silver sale to Aelita. Internal feat name: TradeSaleMed. It does not have to be one item, you just need to sell stuff worth 500 silver in one transaction.
Cat Burglar Yes Gathered a key item without being detected. It can be any quest item (a key for one of the main quests, a memora for a side quest etc.). Triggers even if you don't have the side bounty to do so.
Cautious First Steps No Sneak by initial foes without being detected. Sneak past the three skeleton archers of Pluto's Gate in the "sneaking" part of the intro. In patch 2, a few skeletons were added before this point. If starting a new game just to do this, "New Game +" mode skips the tutorial levels, so can't get this feat.
Cheat Death Yes Avoid death 3 times with the Iron Shirt and/or Shadow Step skills. Acquire Iron Shirt skill from a fighter tree or a Shadow Step from a rogue tree. Afterwards, plant the seedling near some enemy to have an easy resurrection spot and let him punch you until you get the feat.
Combo Attack Yes? Successfully performed a combo attack. You need any attack skill that combines a movement key with an attack key (e.g. Fighter's Fury). After you acquire it, just use it to kill an enemy.
Crawstuck Yes? Jammed a trap with an object. Levers which disable traps can trigger this, as can use of the physics objects. The Trap Impairment skill may help.
Dead Eye Yes? Deal 10000 total damage with ranged attacks. Easily dome with arrows/throwing knives.
Death Dealer Yes? Deal 15000 total damage with melee attacks. Seems bugged. Possibly it only counts sword attacks, not all melee attacks.
Dynamics of Reversal Yes? Reflect a projectile. Unknown spell. Reflect spell MAY be ᛒᛉᛖ. Reflect wand is marked as "REMOVED". Internal feat name: ReflectedAnArrowOrMindBlast.
Executioner Yes? Deal 10000 total damage with axes/maces/hammers. Triggers just fine with axes.
Explorer No? Collected 25 Compendium entries. Internal feat name: CompendiumA.
Firestarter Yes? Kill an enemy with fire. Works fine with Flaming Orb spell, as well as burning objects.
Fists of Fury Yes? Deal 10000 total damage without weapons. Just use unarmed attacks (by default bound to 0 key).
Four Runestone Spell Yes? Cast a spell with 4 runes. You will need a high enough skill to at least cast a 2nd level spells without penalty, so you can attempt 3rd level spells.
Hard To Reach Yes Switched a lever without touching it. You can obtain this by throwing or firing something at any lever, including in the very first room. You have to do this during the main quest in Pluto's Gate, the training level.
Incite Commotion Yes Enemies convinced to turn on each other. Outcasts attacking monsters does not trigger this. Standing so that a foe is between yourself and a bowman or magic user seems to be the simplest path. Angering a reaper while others are close to it may also trigger it.
Inventive Wall Run Yes Execute a Wall Run off something other than the walls. You need a Wall Run skill from the fighter tree. Jumping at the wall of a box works fine.
Long Jump Yes Leapt a horizontal distance of 15 meters. You will need a jumping skill to achieve this, just jumping off a cliff down doesn't work. A blow from a Ripper can also throw you far enough to achieve this.
Massive Firestarter Yes Kill 5 enemies with fire. Works fine with Flaming Orb spell, as well as burning objects.
Master Archer Yes? Deal 10000 total damage with arrows. All kinds of arrows (except Water Arrows) work for this.
Meteoric Demise Yes? Killed an enemy with a burning crate. You need to deal a killing blow to an enemy with a thrown burning crate.
Mind Killer Yes Kill Mind Crippler, indirectly. Internal feat name: MindCripplerDiedWithoutPlayerDamagingIt. Works just fine when you kill a Mind Crippler with a burning box held to his "face".
Multi-Trap Kill Yes 5 enemies were killed by traps For this, tripwire does not count as a trap. Those have to be traps found in the environment. Rollers, blades, pits - all work fine for this.
Night Vision Yes Used Night Vision. Requires the Night Vision skill. Crouch in darkness after obtaining the skill.
Physics Kill Yes An enemy near me died from collision damage. Works with thrown crates.
Physics Kills Yes 5 enemies near me died from collision damage. Works with thrown crates.
Pounce Yes Pounced on an enemy. Requires the Pounce skill. Jump onto their head, Mario-style, from a ledge, or just from the ground if you have good enough jump skills. Can be a 1-hit kill, in combination with other passives like Ambush.
Rebranded Yes Rebranded a wand. Requires a Focus Mastery skill from the magic tree. Just press RMB when holding any wand, and set the spell you want.
Researcher No? Collected 55 Compendium entries. Internal feat name: CompendiumB.
Resherak Yes? Speak with Resherak to learn new skills. Triggered the first time you meet Resherak: perhaps also when revisiting him.
Scholar Yes Collected 90 Compendium entries. Internal feat name: CompendiumC. Re-triggers periodically.
Shadow Dweller Yes Hide in Shadow Cloud Deep Slug Trail. Feed an Eyeless Neather Fish to any Deep Slug to make its trail smoky. Afterwards, step into that trail and crouch.
Silent Assassin Yes Killed an enemy without being detected. You can one-shot people from stealth with damage-boosting skills and weapons. Holding a Flaming Orb to their bodies while crouched also works fine.
Silent Slaughter Yes Killed 5 enemies without being detected. You can one-shot people from stealth with damage-boosting skills and weapons. Holding a Flaming Orb to their bodies while crouched also works fine.

Spell Cast No Cast your first spell. Any spell will do. The first spell you learn in the tutorial level is ᚢᛗ.
Stepping Razor Yes? Deal 10000 total damage with daggers. Triggers fine with any dagger.
Sword Master Yes? Deal 10000 total damage with swords. Triggers fine with both short and long swords.
Trap Kill Yes? An enemy was killed by a trap. For this, tripwire does not count as a trap. It has to be a trap found in the environment. Rollers, blades, pits - all work fine for this.
Tripwire Kill Yes? An enemy was killed by a tripwire you placed. You can buy a tripwire from Fane and Aelita - they sometimes have it in stock. You can also find it lying around. Place it in any corridor and lure the enemy in. If you don't have tripwire damage boosting skills from the rogue tree, you'll need to weaken the enemy first.
Uncompromising Obstruction Yes? Blocked an arrow with a held object. Hold a crate while you're being shot at. Since this blocks their sight, maybe peek over it until they fire.
Untouchable Assassin Yes Defeated an enemy without being damaged. Sneaking up behind low-level enemies with a decent weapon can one-hit them, particularly with skills that increase Adept or weapon damage. Ranged attacks also help. Holding a Flaming Orb to the enemy while crouched (so they don't see you) also works fine.
Utterly Untouchable Yes? Defeated 5 enemies without being damaged. Holding a Flaming Orb to the enemy while crouched (so they don't see you) also works fine.
