In UnderWiki, any material outside of the game world should be attributed to a reliable source.

When to cite sources[edit]

Pieces of information that can be easily verified by logging in Underworld Ascendant do not need citations. The numeric value of an item's weight do not need a citation if it can be easily seen in the game: You don't need to cite that the sky is blue in the game. The same way, common knowledge shared by the community do not need citations. While the game itself is accepted as the main source of information about the items, locations and creatures of the game world and therefore an explicit reference is not needed for those information, it is still encouraged to check those information as they might change after a patch. On the other hand, information about the inner mechanics of the game should be attributed to a reliable source, whether the specific patch note, interview or the site that the information is published.

How to cite sources[edit]

 • An internal link (using "Internal Link" inside the sentence or simply adding Internal Link at the end of the sentence) can be used to attribute an information to a patch note:

Not only a valiant knight, Sir Cabirus was a skilled painter. "Not only a valiant knight, Sir Cabirus was a skilled painter."
Not only a valiant knight, Sir Cabirus was a skilled painter.Portfolio of Sir Cabirus’ Paintings "Not only a valiant knight, Sir Cabirus was a skilled painter.Portfolio of Sir Cabirus’ Paintings""

 • An inline citation can be used with the tags . Note that in order to list the inline citations of the article, the section == Sources == followed by the tag <references /> must be added at the end of the page.

Not only a valiant knight, Sir Cabirus was a skilled painter. Not only a valiant knight, Sir Cabirus was a skilled painter.[1]

Adding external links[edit]

Articles may include links to web pages outside of the UnderWiki that are relevant to the subject. External links should be included in an "External links" section at the end of the article. You can also check the end of this article for the appropriate use.
